An algae that eats carbon dioxide and provides bio-fuel and cattle feed as by-products will start a revolutionary commercial trial in Queensland this year.
Scientists believe the diesel fuel will be commercially viable within three years and the trial on 1.8 hectares of land next to the Tarong Power Station, 180km north-west of Brisbane, will be the first step in getting the futuristic project to market.
