Syntroleum Corp., which celebrated the completion of its joint-venture biodiesel plant earlier this month, sustained a $1.03 million net loss in its second quarter, the Tulsa-based firm announced Wednesday.
Overall revenues totaled $1.29 million for the quarter ending June 30, $400,000 less than the same three months in 2009. Syntroleum’s net loss was nearly $2.8 million better than the $3.8 million in red ink spilled in 2009’s second quarter.
