The City of Welland has its hands tied with respect to the Dain City biodiesel plant.
City staff met with Dain City residents Tuesday night in an effort to explain the city’s ability to address the concerns of residents in regards to a biodiesel plant currently under construction. The plant, located at 1 St. Clair Ave., is being established by Toronto-based company Bioversel, and a group of residents recently applied to appear as a delegation before town council to petition a halt to construction.
